Eddie Hearn said an obsessed fan rings him up to 40 times a day

And it led to one avid man bombarding him with daily calls until the boxing promoter picked up.

And Hearn – who has over 1million followers on Twitter – was left to question what the unknown caller was doing with his life.

Hearn said: “I’ve got people who phone me up all the time, just fans who are doing nothing with their lives and sitting at home all day.

“I don’t normally pick them up but there’s one guy – he’s probably watching this – he phones me about 400 times a week on a private number.

“And every now and then, I’ll pick it up. And he’ll go, ‘Eddie, how are ya? What ya doing?’ And I actually had a conversation with him.

“I said, ‘What the f*** are you doing?’ And he goes, ‘What do you mean?’ And I went, ‘How many times have you phoned me today?’

“I dunno, it could be literally over the course of a couple of hours 30, 40. I said, ‘What are you doing with your life?’

“And he’s like, ‘What do you mean?’ And I’m like, ‘Literally, the highlight of your day is sitting there, phoning me, seeing if I’ll pick up or not.’

“I said, ‘The f*** are you doing? Get out there and f***g sort your life out. Change your life.'”

How to box effectively

Boxing is the most loved sport in the world. Two opponents fight each other to the death. The rules of boxing vary from country to country. There are three types generally of boxing: Amateur (Professional) and Olympic (Olympic).

Amateur boxing is usually practiced at school, college or university. This type of boxing includes sparring sessions with padded gloves and without any protection. Usually amateur boxing competitions consist of three rounds of five minutes each. There are many styles of amateur boxing such as Kickboxing or Muay Thai, Taekwondo and Karate, Judo and Wrestling, among others.

Most professional boxing takes place in gyms, clubs, and stadiums. They wear protective equipment such as mouthpiece, nose guard, shin guards, elbow pads, knee pads, waist belt and groin protector. Professional boxing contests last six rounds and last for four minutes each. There are many styles to professional boxing.

Olympic boxing can be seen at the Olympics. International standards dictate that boxers must wear protective gear. The competition lasts eight rounds of three minutes each. Olympic boxing can be divided into two types: Light Flyweight (Heavyweight) and Heavyweight (Light Flyweight).

The basics of boxing are:

  • Punching techniques
  • Guarding techniques
  • Footwork
  • Stance
  • Move your body
  • Defense
  • Combination
  • Rotation
  • Spare parts

Punching Techniques

There are seven types. Each punch has its own technique. Some punches require more strength than others. For example, an uppercut is a powerful punch. On the other hand, a straight punch requires less power but it is faster than other punches.

There are many combinations of punches. These are combinations that combine punches to accomplish a particular goal. A combination may contain several parts. For example, a left hook followed by a right cross will cause damage to the opponent’s jaw.

Guard Techniques

A boxer protects himself by using his body. He does this by using his legs.

Legs

Boxers should use the legs to protect themselves against kicks. When he’s hit, he raises his right leg and runs away from the attacker. To avoid being kicked on his side, he will bend his knees if the attack is from the front. If the attack is from the side, he will bend his knees to avoid being kicked on the side.

Elbows

Elbow strikes are very powerful because they inflict great pain. An elbow strike can be delivered either directly or indirectly. Directly means that your opponent is hit with your forearm. However, indirectly means that your elbow strike is delivered with another part or your arm.

Hands

Boxers use the power of their hands to block any incoming blows. They raise their fists high above their heads and point them in the direction of an attack. They then touch the attackers fist.

Knees

Boxers who are subject to a punch to their stomachs, abdomens, or chests should bend at the knees to absorb the impact. Defense purposes are often served by knee strikes.

Feet

A boxer should take control of an attack and respond with counter-attacks. This allows him to put distance between himself, his opponent, and the ring. Boxers should also keep their balance when counter-attacking.

Stances

To box effectively, a boxer must establish a stance. His stance determines how he defends himself. It determines where he will face his opponent and how he will position his body. There are many stances available to boxers. Here are the most commonly used ones:

  • Low stance
  • High stance
  • Southpaw stance
  • Western stance

Body Movement

A boxer must change his position, speed and rhythm in order to win the fight. This requires changing your position, speed, and rhythm.

Rotation

When a boxer throws a punch, he rotates in order to increase the reach of his arm. Different types of punches require different speeds for the rotation.

Combinations

The timing of each individual punch affects the effectiveness or failure of a combination. A combination is good if it starts with a strong punch then ends with a weaker one.

Spare parts

Sparring, a boxing practice session, is designed to improve your boxing skills. A sparring session is where a boxer trains both his mind and his body. In conclusion, the purpose of sparring is to learn how to fight and not get hurt.

It is important to be patient and dedicated when learning how to box. You need to train hard and long in order to become a better boxer.
