EDDIE HEARN admits he’s “so happy” Deontay Wilder has chosen to keep boxing.

The former WBC heavyweight champion teased it could be the end of his career after his brutal knockout loss to Tyson Fury last October but has since confirmed he intends to continue fighting.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has welcomed the news of Wilder’s intentions to continue fighting

Wilder’s decision to keep going has paved the way for several big match-ups in the division, the prospects of which Hearn is relishing.

The Matchroom Boxing chief recently told iFL TV: “Wilder is a great addition. He’s already there, for the heavyweight division.

“I’m so happy he’s back because if you look at the fights with Wilder, it’s breathtaking.
