Jarrell Miller warns Joshua about his upcoming fight
Anthony Joshua is set to return to the ring on December 23 for a highly-anticipated heavyweight showdown in Saudi Arabia. However, fellow heavyweight Jarrell Miller believes that Joshua may have underestimated his opponent, Otto Wallin, and could be in for a tough fight.
Wallin's impressive performance against Tyson Fury
Wallin's only defeat came against world champion Tyson Fury in 2019. Many believe that Wallin was unlucky to lose after opening up a huge cut over Fury's eye. The Swedish southpaw is now looking to extend his 26-1 record when he faces Joshua this month.
Miller's warning to Joshua
Jarrell Miller, who fights Daniel Dubois on the same night, cautions Joshua about underestimating Wallin. Miller believes that Wallin is a durable fighter who will not back down easily. He also questions Joshua's mental state and whether he will be able to handle the pressure of fighting outside the UK.
Miller states, "I feel honestly that AJ might have made a mistake with picking Otto Wallin. Even though Otto Wallin is not a one-punch knockout kind of guy, he is durable and he comes to fight. He is not a quitter and it is going to be a tough fight for AJ. I don’t think that it is going to be easy at all."
Miller wishes Wallin luck in the fight and admits that he himself would like to be the one to knock out Joshua. However, he acknowledges that the best man will win and hopes for an exciting match.
