Francis Ngannou Makes Decision on Whether to Appeal Tyson Fury Defeat After Fans Say He Was ‘Robbed’ of Victory

The Rematch is What I Want Next the Most

Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, has made a decision on whether to appeal his narrow defeat to Tyson Fury in his professional boxing debut. Despite dropping Fury in the third round, Ngannou suffered a split decision defeat to the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion. However, he doesn't intend to appeal the result, stating that he has no chance and that it would only lead to further humiliation. Ngannou is now eyeing a rematch with Fury as his top priority.

Waiting for Fury: Ngannou's Best Scenario in Boxing

Ngannou believes that his best scenario in boxing is to wait for Fury, who is set to face Oleksandr Usyk in a historic undisputed heavyweight title fight. Ngannou is willing to sit on the sidelines and wait for the outcome of the fight before deciding his next move. He expressed his willingness to fight Fury if Usyk steps aside, but also mentioned the possibility of returning to MMA for a fight before coming back to boxing. Ngannou plans to potentially have two fights next year, starting in February or March.
