FRANK WARREN has promoted some of the biggest fights in British boxing history during his Hall of Fame career.
But he still has big plans yet for his current crop of stars.
With mega-title unifications, rematches and world championship fights to be made, the promoter has plenty still to offer fans.
And here, he has picked his five must-see fights, and SunSport will help explain what makes them so special.
Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua
It’s the obvious one we all want, and nearly had.
Warren worked alongside Fury’s US promoter and Joshua’s representative Eddie Hearn and terms were all-but agreed for August 14 in Saudi Arabia.
But the Gypsy King’s attempt to walk away from his contracted trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder was unsuccessful, as they rematch again on October 9.
Joshua instead fights Oleksandr Usyk, but the all-British undisputed title decider will be re-visited – so long as the superstar pair both prevail.
Lyndon Arthur vs Anthony Yarde 2
Arthur outhoxed Londoner Yarde in November to keep his Commonwealth title on a split-decision.
It proved a tense affair, not quite catching fire like many predicted, but remained in the balance until the final bell.
Arthur was a clear winner in the eyes of most, but Yarde was just a few shots each round away from turning the tables.
It has set them up perfectly for a rematch, targeted for October, with the winner in line to challenge for the WBO light-heavyweight title.
Daniel Dubois vs Trevor Bryan
Dubois bounced back from his first career defeat to Joe Joyce by knocking out Bogdan Dinu in the first round of their June fight.
It also earned him the WBA ‘interim’ title, moving him one step closer to a shot at Joshua’s crown.
But also eyed is Bryan’s secondary WBA ‘Regular’ belt, which would firmly place Dubois in world title contention.
Warren told SunSport he will target that fight if Dubois wins on YouTuber Jake Paul’s undercard on August 29 in what will be his US debut.
Joe Joyce vs Anthony Joshua/Oleksandr Usyk
Before AJ saw his Battle of Britain with Fury collapse, Joyce was in line to fight Usyk for the WBO ‘interim’ belt.
But after Usyk was instead mandated to fight Usyk, Joyce beat Carlos Takam in the interim, but was elevated to the WBO’s No1 ranked challenger.
It means he will now be next in line for the winner between Joshua and Usyk, who fight on September 25 at Tottenham’s stadium.
Interestingly, Joyce was beaten by Usyk in the World Series of Boxing – an amateur tournament – and was a sparring partner of AJ’s on the Olympic squad.

Joe Joyce vs Daniel Dubois 2
If the heavyweight champions are still yet to get their affairs in order and unify the division, the other contenders may need to go over old ground.
And for Dubois, that would be trying to exact revenge on the man who took his undefeated record away from him.
Up until he was forced to be counted out after suffering a gruesome eye injury, the fight was compelling all the way.
And the intrigue on whether Joyce can do it again, or if Dubois can make the necessary adjustments, fuels demand for a rematch.
