Game of Thrones star Thor live streamed an event from his gym on Saturday when he tried to bench press a personal best 556lbs – but things went horribly wrong.

Bjornsson decided to make light of the situation by admitting he is now struggling to “wipe his a*s”.

But the actor is confident he will be back stronger than ever after returning to his strongman roots following a short boxing stint that saw him beating his rival Eddie Hall.

Thor said: “I just wanted to jump on here and update you guys on what’s happening. For those that don’t know what’s going on, I injured myself [on] April 15th during my meet in the bench press.

“I believe that I completely tore my upper chest off the bone and I will have to have surgery if that’s the case. I have an MRI booked [for 18 April], so I’ll be able to update you guys more on what’s happening.

“You guys are asking me questions every single day and I feel like I owe it to you guys to update you guys, to come on here to talk to you guys and tell you that I’m doing okay considering everything. Things are tough, I’ve got to be honest with you.

“Hopefully, I can make some of you laugh now. Things like wiping my a*s is difficult. I’m left-handed. My left hand is completely… You know, I have a hard time wiping my a*s, putting my underwear on is difficult. It’s life.

“So, things aren’t easy, but this is just a new journey, a new chapter in my journey. This is literally the biggest injury of my whole career. So, I’ve got to take this guys.
