‘I don’t see anybody beating him’ – Floyd Mayweather, 44, training likes ‘he is in his 20s’, reveals sparring partner

BOXING legend Floyd Mayweather is still just as agile and as unbeatable as when he was in his twenties ahead of his latest exhibition bout.

The former five-weight world champion is just weeks away from a lucrative Dubai exhibition against YouTuber Money Kicks.

The boxing legend still trains as regularly as he did when he was an active fighter

And Money’s training partner J’Hon Ingram claims he’s just as agile as he was in his twenties

Mayweather, 44, hasn’t slipped with his training since his clash with Logan Paul last June, so much so sparring partner J’Hon Ingram reckons the boxing great can still mix it with fighters several years his junior.

He told Fight Hype: “It is faster than Tank’s I can tell you that right now. Tank’s is fast but still not as fast as Floyd.

“On their jab they might be equal but Floyd switches his jab up so much so Tank is still not as fast as Floyd.

“I did land on him, I had to throw combinations to land I couldn’t throw any single punches, honestly like four or five.

“His gameplan and his knowledge in the game is unbelievable, he was throwing things I have never seen before. His defence is amazing so I had to throw big punches to actually hit him.

“He definitely still lives up to his name. I was thinking because he is a little older now that I would be able to push him.

“But he still moves like he is 20. He punches like he is still in his 20’s. His awareness and reactions are still like he is in his 20’s.

“Even if he took a real fight right now I don’t see anybody beating him, if you look at a lot of great fighters after they retired it’s a lot different to Floyd. He is still training and keeping his boxing IQ up.”

Mayweather’s clash with Money Kicks – real name Rashed Belhasa – will be staged on the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah’s helipad.

Money Kicks was shocked by Mayweather’s call out, telling Sky Sports: “I never thought I would ever fight Floyd. He is the best fighter ever.

“When I was young, I would collect his ‘The Money Team’ caps.

Floyd Mayweather is set to face YouTuber Money Kicks in an exhibition bout later this month

“Mayweather’s team asked my team for a meeting. We thought: ‘No way will this happen!’

“The same day of the meeting, I saw Mayweather saying, ‘I would love to fight Rashed’.

“He is serious. It is an honour that he has called me out. I thought: ‘This will go viral!’”
