BOXER Hassan N’Dam chillingly begged a referee not to stop his fight and said: ‘I’m ready to die’.
The former middleweight champion featured on the undercard of Terence Crawford’s win over Shawn Porter. 
N’Dam faced and was beaten by unbeaten Kazakh Janibek Alimkhanuly, dubbed a potential successor to Gennady Golovkin, 39.
The French-Cameroonian veteran, 37, was dominated over eight rounds before the fight was finally stopped.
But N’Dam protested the finish and could be heard saying in the corner: “No, no, no. No, I’m ready to die.”
Alimkhanuly, 28, moved to 11–0 with his seventh knockout, while N’Dam was beaten for the third time in four fights.
He can be remembered by British fans for beating Martin Murray, 39, in 2018 but losing to Callum Smith, 31, a year later.
After the win, Alimkhanuly said: “I am ready for a world title shot next.

“I must give credit to N’Dam, a tough former champion who took a lot of punishment.”
In the main-event, Crawford, 34, became the first man to ever stop Porter, 34, inside the distance.
The American former two-time champion was twice dropped and then pulled out by his trainer and dad Kenny.
