Jake Paul lost his last fight to Tommy Fury

He has even beaten ex-MMA champions in Ben Askren, 38, Tyron Woodley, 40, and Anderson Silva, 47.

But Paul, 26, fell to his first defeat in the ring in February, losing to unbeaten boxer Tommy Fury, 23, by split-decision in Saudi Arabia.

And ex-UFC title challenger Masvidal, 37, promised to hand the YouTuber more than a points loss if they were to ever fight.

He told DAZN: “Jake Paul wouldn’t be ready for that heat. I’m throwing with bad intentions and I’m a pro with 50 fights.

“I’m not gonna get tired throwing heat and I’m there to take your head off.

“You’re gonna have to do some really evasive things in that ring to get away from me. Jake hasn’t hit that stride yet.”

Paul has talked up fighting Masvidal or ex-UFC welterweight Nate Diaz, 37, but instead looks set to rematch Fury in the summer.

Meanwhile, Masvidal returns to the octagon at UFC 287 on April 8 against Brazilian Gilbert Burns, 36.

The ex-backyard brawler-turned pay-per-view attraction has not fought since March of 2022 against friend-gone enemy Colby Covington, 35.

Covington won on points over five rounds but the feud did not end there following a street brawl in Miami a month later.

Masvidal, who has previously pled not guilty, was accused of attacking Covington with the case set to go to trial on May 22.

Legs

Boxers should use the legs to protect themselves against kicks. When he’s hit, he raises his right leg and runs away from the attacker. To avoid being kicked in the side, he bends down if the attacker attacks from the front. If the attack comes from behind, however, he can stand straight up and block the kick by his foot.

Elbows

Because they cause great pain, elbow strikes are extremely effective. You can either deliver an elbow strike directly, or indirectly. Directly, you strike your opponent with your forearm. Indirectly, you hit him with another portion of your arm.

Hands

Boxers use their hands as a shield against incoming punches. To do so, they raise their fists above their head and move them towards the direction of the attack. The attacker’s fist is then in their face.

Knees

A boxer should bend his knees in order to absorb any blows to his stomach, abdomen, chest or stomach. Knee strikes are often used for defense purposes.

Feet

A boxer should take control of an attack and respond with counter-attacks. This will help him gain distance from his opponent. A boxer must also maintain his balance when responding to an opponent’s counter-attack.

Stances

Boxing is only possible if a boxer has a clear stance. The way he defends himself will be determined by his stance. It determines his position and the direction he will face. Boxers have many stances to choose from. Here are the most commonly used ones:

  • A low stance

Combinations
