DILLIAN WHYTE finally broke his Tyson Fury big-fight silence and vowed to punish Team Gyspy King for trying to mug him off.

The 34-year-old Body Snatcher refused to attend March’s launch press conference and went over a month without evening mentioning the 94,000 sellout and all-English PPV showdown on his social media.

Whyte insists his April fight isn’t ‘the Tyson Fury show’
Fury is hoping to defend his WBC crown

But he launched into the promotion on Thursday night and started throwing verbal shots at Fury and his backers.

Brixton’s mandatory challenger roared: “This is a business and it’s not the Tyson Fury show.

“This show sold out because of both of us. It’s not just the Fury show. It needs both of us so I will do things correctly.

“I won’t dance to no one’s tune. We can dance but it won’t be one-way traffic.

“I’m a disciplined guy, I’ve learned to be like that and been professional in all my fights.

“So when people try to mug me off they have to correct things and, now they have, here I am.

“I know what I am and I know what I bring.

“I have a lot of pain and frustration to take out on someone and that’s going to be Tyson Fury.”

Whyte has been the WBC’s No1 contender for over 1,000 days and has taken the sanctioning body to court to demand more than the harsh 20 per cent cut he is set to receive.

And he accused Fury of doing his best to swerve the clash and insists he has only landed it by dragging him through the courts too.

The Jamaica-born Brit said: “I had to go through a legal process to get Fury to fight me, there were multiple times he was supposed to fight me and he never did.

“He never wanted to fight me so we had to get legal and here we are.”

Fury is boxing in the UK for the first time since 2018, after taking his career to scorching Sin City and the Las Vegas strip.

He set up camp in a separate house from the family home, just four miles down the road and took up a new hobby with trainer Sugar Hill that has got him really driving his punches home.

The 33-year-old revealed: “I’ve been playing a lot of golf in Morecambe, with Sugar Hill, to prepare for this fight.

“And I think that has really improved my right hand and putting my shoulder really into my shots.

“I’m driving the ball around 400 yards and I think it really has helped.

“I hit around 200 balls a day as part of my training,  we do loads of different things to spice things up.”

Fury stunned the world with his powers of recovery in the first and third fights with Deonay Wilder, climbing off the canvas a total of four times and getting compared to wrestling legend The Undertaker.

But the 6ft9in switch-hitting power puncher reckons he has a twisted taste for getting battered.

He grinned: “I know most people look forward to after the fight, getting it over with and celebrating.

“But I enjoy every moment, even a 12-round fight goes too quickly. I’d rather go all day.

“Normal people will hear that and think I’m a lunatic but I really do love being in the ring and punched in the face. I love climbing off the canvas and stunning everyone.”
