Jake Paul being sued by boxing judge he claimed Eddie Hearn bribed as YouTuber face staggering £92million lawsuit

BOXING judge Glenn Feldman has joined Eddie Hearn in suing Jake Paul over alleged “defamatory lies”.

Matchroom Boxing supremo Hearn took legal action against Paul last month after the YouTuber turned boxer claimed he had Feldman on his payroll.

Eddie Hearn launched a £92million lawsuit against Jake Paul last month

Paul alleged that Hearn and Matchroom have bribed judges

Judge Glenn Feldman has also decided to take legal action against the YouTuber

Paul made the allegation following Feldman’s scoring of Katie Taylor and Anthony Joshua’s respective clashes with Amanda Serrano and Oleksandr Usyk.

And veteran judge Feldman has joined Hearn in taking legal action against The Problem Child, seeking separate damages from the original £92million suit.

In a statement to ESPN, Matchroom lawyer Frank Salzano said: “[Paul’s] statements have harmed Feldman’s reputation in the public, impute the commission of a crime, and/or call into question Feldman’s fitness to perform his work in his trade and profession.”

Paul, 25, is now staving off his sixth lawsuit after telling iFL TV: “I still think Amanda Serrano won the fight [over Katie Taylor].

“Then you see how this judge Glenn Feldman, who had the biggest gap between Taylor and Serrano. Everyone pretty much had it a draw… a draw or that Amanda won.

“But there’s this judge, Glenn Feldman, who scored it such a big gap for Taylor, gave rounds that Amanda clearly won, to Taylor.

“Then this judge, Glenn Feldman, shows up in Saudi and scores Anthony Joshua to win [over Oleksandr Usyk]. Everyone who watched the fight [knows] it’s not a split decision.

“Usyk had a runaway victory, clearly won the fight. This judge, Glenn Feldman, gives it to Anthony Joshua?

“It’s like a repeated crime here. This type of s**t, I’m going to call it out here in boxing because it’s bulls**t.

“Clearly, this guy is getting paid money by Matchroom Boxing.”

Matchroom have accused Paul of knowingly and “wrong” accusing the promotion and Hearn of “fixing fights.

Salzano said: “Both legally and ethically there is a clear line separating opinion from defamatory lies.

“Jake Paul knows that, and he purposely crossed that line when he wrongly accused Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn of fixing fights.

Jake Paul is gearing up for a showdown with MMA great Anderson Silva

“Nonetheless he was still given an opportunity to retract his defamatory statements and refused to.

“Now he will face the legal consequences of his actions as Matchroom and Mr. Hearn will be seeking damages in well excess of $100 million given the value and goodwill attached to the Matchroom business and the harmful nature of Mr. Paul’s comments.”

Paul is paying no attention to the ongoing lawsuit ahead of his clash with MMA great Anderson Silva this weekend.

He recently told MMA Junkie: “I’m not even focused on it.

“I have this fight coming up on October 29 and my lawyers are dealing with that. So, I haven’t even put any thought into it.

“I don’t care. I get sued all the time for stupid s***. I’m 5-0 in lawsuits and 5-0 in the ring.

“I’ve got all the time in the world. All the money in the world and I’m just focused on October 29. Pull up, everyone!”
