JAKE PAUL took aim at Tommy Fury by calling him an ’embarrassing kid’ who is ‘ living in his big brother’s shadow’.

The celebrity pair have never managed to enter the squared circle, with two dates falling through at the last minute.

Promoter Frank Warren has vowed to “work hard” to make Paul vs Fury finally happen next year.

Paul has taken numerous swipes at the former Love Island star, including in 2021 when he accused him of living off brother Tyson‘s success.

He told iFL TV: “It’s not very serious, he’s a little brother living in his big brother’s shadow, literally and figuratively. 

“He’s smaller in every single way, and the kid wasn’t even man enough to call me out himself, he had to have his big brother do it. 

“Pretty embarrassing. But hey, who knows? Maybe the fight happens one day. It could be interesting.” 

Light-heavyweight Tommy reassured Paul he did not need anyone, let alone his brother, to call out opponents on his behalf.

And it sparked a war of words between the pair, with Tommy’s dad and trainer John as well as promoter Warren getting on board for the potential fight.

And heavyweight superstar Tyson predicts the YouTuber is evenly matched against his younger sibling.

Tyson said last year: “Jake Paul can fight I’ll have you know. I think they have about the same level of experience.

“They have both had a few pro fights, Tommy had a limited amateur background, ten fights or something.

“I think it would be an even fight to be fair.”

Paul is due to take on MMA superstar Anderson Silva later on this month.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will look to stretch his unbeaten record to 6-0 after the ex-UFC star was granted a boxing licence.

While Warren is determined to see his man TNT finally get a shot at the Problem Child.

Fury is expecting his first child with long-term girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.

He has TWICE signed to face Paul but was withdrawn both times, suffering an injury and later US visa issues.
