JAKE PAUL claimed he ‘doesn’t know’ who Mairis Briedis is – despite the world champion’s best efforts.
Latvian Briedis has shamelessly gone to great lengths to get the attention of Paul, 25, who is 5-0 and made his professional debut only two years ago.
That included a tattoo with the YouTuber’s name on it and then a cringe-worthy diss track.
Retired boxer Paulie Malignaggi, 41, recently called out Paul while Tony Bellew, 39, hit out at the American.
But the man himself is completely unaware of the trio, telling talkSPORT: “I don’t know who half these guys are to be honest.
“People are calling me out every week, and almost every day honestly. I don’t really pay attention to it anymore.
“It’s more, ‘Who do I wanna fight? And who would make me excited to get out of bed and go train my ass off for months?’
“That’s the opponent I’m looking for. But all these other guys are probably just looking for a payday.”

Paul has faced criticism for not yet fighting a recognised boxer, despite 7-0 Tommy Fury, 22, pulling out of their grudge match in December.
Ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, instead filled in for a late-notice rematch and was knocked out in round six.
Paul had beaten Woodley on points in August, adding to wins over YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC star Ben Askren, 37.
The social media sensation is now focussing on promoting the women’s super-fight between Amanda Serrano, 33, and Katie Taylor, 35.
Paul said: “I want to fight towards the end of the year. The opponent is to be determined and there’s no clear pathway now.
“I’m just seeing how the cookie crumbles.”
