Jake Paul offers to face old YouTube foe KSI at London’s 02 Arena after Alex Wassabi ‘injury’

JAKE PAUL has called out KSI following rumours the Brit’s showdown with Alex Wassabi is OFF.

It was claimed today that Wassabi has picked up an injury just three weeks before the pair were meant to face off at the O2 Arena.

Paul himself has now suggested Wassabi is out of the fight due to a concussion.

But he has offered to step in at short notice and fight KSI in London so the August 27 event can still go ahead.

He wrote on Twitter: Heard that Alex is out bc (because) of a concussion. F***ed up. This was a big opportunity for Alex. He will be back.

“KSI… everything happens for a reason. I’ll come fight in your hometown. Your boxing company. You are A-Side.

“I also agree to make 180 pounds for August 27. You accept?”

He also said in a video: “Now this puts KSI in a corner. If he doesn’t accept the fight with me, we all just know that he’s scared.”

Paul added: “What’s your excuse? Do you accept?”

American YouTuber turned boxer Paul was meant to face former sparring partner Hasim Rahman Jr at Madison Square Garden this weekend.

That was until a weight disagreement between the two forced the entire pay-per-view to be scrapped.

So Paul has offered to step in and fight KSI instead, with the Brit yet to respond.

KSI previously fought Paul’s brother Logan twice, the first bout ending in a draw before the Watford-born star won the rematch.

News of Wassabi’s reported injury comes as a blow to KSI after he recently showed off his stunning body transformation.

Since the start of 2022 the 29-year-old has been hard at work piling on the muscle in order to get himself in tip-top condition for his return to the ring.

But suggestions Wassabi is injured has thrown the August 27 event into doubt.
