And the bout is set for eight-rounds in the 200lb cruiserweight division.

In Paul’s five prior professional fights, he has weighed around 190lb, which is 13st 5lb.

But he will jump up to 14st 2lb for the first time having signed to face Rahman Jr at the famed Madison Square Garden.

His opponent is the son of ex-world champion Hasim Rahman Sr, who in 2001 famously knocked out Lennox Lewis.

Son Jr has had stints at cruiserweight but has campaigned largely at heavyweight, where his dad once ruled.

Rahman Jr, 31, even fought as high as 16 STONE before so will need to come down in size for the pay-per-view at MSG.

The American won his first 12 fights, six by knockout, but was beaten for the first time in April.

Rahman Jr was stopped in round five by James McKenzie Morrison, 31, who is the son of former heavyweight champ Tommy.

Whereas Paul is 5-0 but prepares to fight a recognised boxer for the first time, despite previously sparring Rahman Jr twice.

His prior wins came against an online rival, ex-NBA star and two former MMA world champions.

Paul, 25, was due to fight Fury, 23, but for a second time the celebrity grudge match was axed.

This time, Fury was withdrawn amid US visa issues, having last year pulled out after suffering a broken rib.

But he said: “It doesn’t matter. They don’t have my heart, don’t have my drive & definitely don’t have my team.

“August 6 I’m showing the world that Jake Paul is a bad mother f***er.”
