During a Twitch stream with Adin Ross, Jake Paul expressed his determination to fight KSI, stating, "It's gonna happen…we'll make it happen, for sure." Paul claimed that KSI has been dishonest about the situation and has used contract clauses as a way to avoid the fight. He asserted that he has always been willing to step into the ring with any opponent who challenges him.
KSI's Response
In response to Paul's allegations, KSI's manager, Mams Taylor, accused Paul of habitual lying, stating, "Does this guy actually ever stop lying? It’s so natural to him it’s scary."
Jake Paul's Recent Matches
Despite his determination to secure a fight with KSI, Jake Paul suffered his first defeat in February when he lost to Tommy Fury in a split-decision. However, he declined a rematch and instead returned to the ring in August, defeating former UFC star Nate Diaz over ten rounds.
