Jake Paul’s team rule out bout with KSI and taunt that YouTube rival is ‘a smart lad’ for wanting ‘tune up fight’

JAKE PAUL has rule out a fight against long-time rival and fellow YouTuber KSI.

The two have been at loggerheads for years, but never sorted it out in the boxing ring.

KSI and Jake Paul have mooted a fight for years – but it doesn’t look like happening any time soon

After KSI drew and then beat Jake’s older brother Logan, many thought it would see Jake step in to get some family revenge.

But according to Team Jake, that isn’t likely to happen.

Instagram news site The Bread Batch shared a graphic of Jake in a mocked face-to-face with his Brit enemy.

They then shared a comment from Jake’s Most Valuable Promotions company.

It read: “Jake is not an option. KSI has himself stated he would want a ‘tune up’ fight before hoping to secure a fight against Jake Paul.

“KSI is a smart lad.”

The account then went on to quote what KSI had said to Jake’s brother Logan about a prospective clash with Austin McBroom a more likely opponent.

It quoted KSI as saying: “For me to fight Austin, I feel like I need to fight him right now to show Jake Paul how much I’ve improved.

“I need to strike fear into him, because if I go and fight Jake right now, he has all the leverage and he can say ‘I’m the A-Side,’ this and that.

“I don’t like that, I need to f*** Austin up and scare the living s*** out of Jake and then it’s like ‘cool, now we can talk’ and I’ll have a bit of leverage.”

Last time out Jake spectacularly knocked out Tyron Woodley in their rematch.

KSI has hinted he is ready to return to the squared circle after a two-year hiatus.
