JOSH TAYLOR has confirmed he will move up to welterweight – seemingly refusing a rematch with Jack Catterall.
The Scottish star escaped with the undisputed super-lightweight world titles and his unbeaten record, leaving Catterall victim of a horror robbery.

Taylor has long eyed a jump up to the glamoured 147lb welterweight division to chase the super-fights.
And it appears his struggles to shrink down and make the 10st limit are now over.
Taylor, 31, told Sky Sports: “Most definitely this will be my last fight at 140lbs. That’s the last fight at 140lbs.
“Time to move up. Time to bulk up. Time to get some steaks in me and move up.
“I made the weight comfortably. I wasn’t lying when I made the weight. I’ve got a nutritionist on board.
“I made the weight very well but I’m getting to that stage where I’m 31 now.
“Making 140lbs and depleting my body takes a little bit out of me each time.
“It definitely showed in my performance a little bit but that’s my last one at 140lbs, for sure.”
Taylor, floored in round eight and had a point deducted, was handed a widely unpopular split-decision win.
Boxing fans, pundits as well as fighters of the past and present were left in disgust as Catterall, 28, saw the performance of his lifetime go to waste.
And with Taylor’s impending move up in weight and post-fight comments, it looks as though a shot at revenge is off the cards.
Taylor said: “It wasn’t my best performance, I put a hell of a lot of pressure on myself with it being my homecoming.
“It showed in the first half, but once I got my rhythm I started catching him with the bigger shots.
“It wasn’t my best performance, but I believe I got 100 per cent got the win.”
