BOXING legend and KO king Butterbean has opened up about his “crazy” sex addiction.
And the former brawler is ready to return to the ring for a showdown against Jake Paul.
Butterbean, real name Eric Esch, remains a boxing icon after competing in 91 professional fights.
He defied pundits with his large frame to win 77 of those bouts – with an incredible 58 coming by knockout.
Butterbean, 55, also enjoyed spells as a professional MMA fighter and kickboxer.
However, he has now revealed he was previously addicted to sex, with the problem becoming “bad” in his life.
But Butterbean, who clocks in at a mammoth 378lbs, says he’s “proud” at having finally overcome his addiction.
And the boxing legend insists he’s “good now” after a turbulent time outside the ring.
Butterbean told Hannibal TV: “My addiction was never really to drugs, not that I didn’t do them, I’ll be honest.
“But my addiction was sex. I had a sex addiction that was crazy.

“I mean my wife knows about it, so I can talk about it freely, but it was bad.
“I’ve overcome that. I mean kind of like a boss, you just got to quit doing it.
“Now I’m proud to say I’ve been very loyal. I mean, I haven’t gone out chasing it. I’m good now.”
Butterbean is now getting back in shape with the help of WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page.
And the veteran is targeting a final fight against none other than YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul.
Butterbean hasn’t fought since 2013, when he lost to Kirk Lawton in Australia,
Indeed, his last win came way back in 2007 against Joe Siciliano.
Meanwhile, Paul has won all five of his professional fights, including back-to-back victories over former MMA star Tyron Woodley in August and December.

But Butterbean is confident he can give Paul a run for his money.
Butterbean declared: “I’m working with [Diamond Dallas Page] to get up walking and running around again and I’m feeling the best shape I ever have.
“I’m at fight weight. You’ll have to listen to my podcast coming up to find exactly how much weight I have lost, but I haven’t weighed this in over 20 years so that’ll give you an idea.
“The big announcement is I’m going to fight one last fight. It’s going to be one year from now.

“I bet it would be an awesome fight. After you said what you said about me in the magazine, I’m ready to fight you. Are you ready? I don’t think so.”
