Logan Paul Retires from Boxing to Pursue WWE Career

YouTube Star Logan Paul Shifts Focus to Wrestling

Logan Paul, known for his boxing endeavors, has announced his retirement from the sport to fully commit to his career in WWE. The 28-year-old recently won his first boxing match against jiu jitsu champion Dillon Danis and followed it up with a victory over WWE icon Rey Mysterio to claim the United States Championship.

New Direction for Paul's Future

After his successful winning streak, Paul is now faced with a decision on how he will shape his future. In an interview with Fox Business, he stated, "I think I'm retired from boxing. I've done enough, going fully undefeated at 25-0. I'm going to be a wrestler now. No more money in boxing, every company is going broke. Full-time wrestler. Beat Rey Mysterio. Fair and square for the US Championship. It feels great."

Boxing Career Highlights

Paul made his boxing debut in 2018 with a draw against KSI, followed by a loss in their professional rematch a year later. However, the two are now friends and business partners, having launched their Prime hydration drink. In 2021, Paul faced boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match and also triumphed over Dillon Danis in a six-round bout.

A Promising Future in WWE

Despite uncertainty surrounding Paul's boxing career, his future in WWE seems promising. His recent victory over Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event for the US title has opened new doors for him in the wrestling world. Paul is already preparing for potential challengers, including Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, and even Mr. Bad Bunny.
