Fury was asked about a potential re-visiting of the much-wanted bout, but admitted that it “doesn’t look like happening”.

He told talkSPORT: “I don’t know. How long do we have? Maybe when we’re 55.

“It hasn’t happened all this time and doesn’t look like happening at the moment.

“I’m the champion, I offered him the fight and he didn’t take it.”

Instead of fighting Joshua, Fury took on and beat Derek Chisora last Saturday.

And now it appears that there is close to an agreement for him to fight Joshua’s conqueror Oleksandr Uysk.
