MIKE TYSON is set to make his boxing comeback when he faces Roy Jones Jr in an eight-round exhibition bout.

TMZ claim the highly-anticipated legendary showdown will take place in California on September 12.

Iron Mike reportedly rejected a £16million offer to compete in a bare knuckle boxing fight.

But the 54-year-old has reportedly agreed to fight 51-year-old Jones Jr on his return.

Jones Jr, who retired in 2018, insisted earlier this week he would come out of retirement to face Tyson.

He said: “Yes, it’s true – Mike is a legend. It would be crazy to receiv an offer to enter the ring with him and refuse.

“I had no intention of going back and fighting again but, for the sake of Mike Tyson, I agree to make an exception.

“For me, this is an opportunity that I cannot refuse.

“Of all those who wanted to go into the ring with him, he chose me.

“And since he did that, how can I say no?”
