Oleksandr Usyk’s Promoter Takes Aim at Tyson Fury Ahead of World Title Showdown

Trash Talk Begins

The highly anticipated world title showdown between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is set to take place next year, and the trash talk has already begun. Usyk’s promoter, Alex Krassyuk, has launched a scathing attack on Fury, referring to him as a “random-thought generator.”

Postponed Fight

The fight between Usyk and Fury was originally scheduled for this December but was postponed after Fury’s close fight with Francis Ngannou last month. The changing of dates has left Krassyuk frustrated, leading to his attack on Fury.

Poor Showing Against Ngannou

Krassyuk also criticized Fury’s performance against Ngannou, stating that Usyk was sweating throughout the fight because there was a chance for Fury to lose. He questioned whether the fight would have gained much attention if Fury had lost. However, Krassyuk expressed confidence that when Fury faces Usyk, the fight will be completely different.

Usyk’s Confidence and Achievements

Krassyuk highlighted Usyk’s confidence in his abilities, noting that he became the undisputed cruiserweight and is now running for the undisputed heavyweight title. Usyk currently holds multiple belts in the heavyweight division.

Question Marks Over Fury’s Performance

After Fury’s split decision victory against Ngannou, questions were raised about his performance. Ngannou, a former UFC fighter, had recently transitioned to boxing, making Fury's narrow win surprising to some.
