Lopez and Lomachenko are hot on Kambosos Jr’s heels

Kambosos Jr, of course, took the belts off the man who’s behind him in the list, Teofimo Lopez.

The pair squared off at Madison Square Garden and Kambosos Jr secured the world titles by split decision.

Former three weight world champ Vasyl Lomachenko comes in at second.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist welcomes a fight against champ Kambosos Jr this year, which could change the lightweight landscape.

Top Rank president Todd DuBoef, who promotes Lomachenko, said: “Lomachenko has made it very evident to us, and to his team, that it’s the fight he would like.

“We are amicably trying to have discussions with them for a fight in the first half of next year.”

WBC title holder Devin Haney occupies third spot.

Haney has held the world title since 2019 and is yet to be beaten in 27 professional fights.

The 23-year-old won his last fight by unanimous decision, seeing off Joseph Diaz.

Gervonta Davis – one of boxing’s most explosive fighters – comes in at fourth.

The 27-year-old has 24 professional knockouts to his name.

The 26-0 American has held the WBA regular title since 2019.

In his off time, Davis enjoys trolling YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

Davis claimed the 24-year-old wears FAKE luxury watches.

Superstar in the making Ryan Garcia takes fifth spot at the start of 2021.

The 23-year-old has a perfect record of 23-0 with 18 knockouts.

However, Garcia’s last fight came at the start of last year when he managed to see off Brit Luke Campbell.

The likes of Isaac Cruz, Diaz, Jorge Linares, Commey and Javier Fortuna make up the rest of Ring Magazine’s top ten.
