Sky Sports forced to apologise as Kell Brook makes crude gay porn taunt to Amir Khan in X-rated face-off

SKY SPORTS were forced to issue an apology after Kell Brook made a crude remark about ‘gay’ pornography to Amir Khan during a fiery pre-fight press conference.

The bitter rivals faced off for the penultimate time on Thursday afternoon ahead of their domestic dust-up in Manchester on Saturday night.

Brook stepped over the line by accusing Khan of ‘w***ing’ over ‘gay’ porn websites

Sky Sports quickly issued an apology for the crude remark and offensive language

Verbal jabs and personal haymakers were thrown by both men during the heated presser, but Brook stepped way over the line with a tasteless reference to ‘gay’ pornography.

After Khan asked him to word himself differently, Brook responded: “It’s you who is on the gay sites, w***ing yourself off.”

Press conference host Adam Smith swiftly warned the pair, saying: “Guys, guys… Kell, come on, focus on the fight.”

And that prompted Sky to issue an apology via a banner on the live stream.

It read: “Khan vs Brook press conference. Apologies for offensive language.”

Former unified light-welterweight champ Khan then questioned Brook over some of his past comments about their grudge match.

The British-Pakistani said: “While everyone is here I wanted to ask a question: you said, ‘I want to smash that poppadom chin.’

“That’s quite racial you saying that.”

Steel City slugger Brook fired back by asking: “What are you trying to say here… [that] I am racist?

“I just wanted to say that your chin is very fragile.”

Host Smith once again attempted to interject by saying: “Guys, guys, come on – Kell, Amir let’s focus on the fight.”

A fired-up Khan then vowed to put the former IBF 147lb champ in his place.

The 35-year-old said: “He beating he’ll get is like nothing he’s got before.

Khan and Brook will get the chance to settle their difference on Saturday night

“All the talking he has done? We will put him in his place.

“Kell has always been obsessed by my career, like a fan-boy.

“I live in his head. I can’t wait to get in the ring and do a job on him.”
