Plucky Ginty managed to send his opponent to the canvas in the opening round.

The towel was thrown in by his corner, but not in time to save their man from another couple of punches.

Ginty was sent to the floor by the final punch and required medical attention.

Thankfully his injuries didn’t appear as bad as first feared, and he was able to greet his opponent after the fight in a show of respect.

Despite his brutal finish, Morris wasn’t overly satisfied with his performance.

After the fight he told the Mirror: “I can do so much better than that.

“I didn’t show what I know I can do, so that was why I was p***ed off. But we got the win and we got the knockout.”

Logan Paul took to social media to mock Morris, writing: “that wasn’t a knockdown”.

This drew a response from JMX, who added to the Mirror: “I’ve seen Logan Paul talking s*** on Twitter.

“Talking s*** about the one knockdown like he’s never been knocked down – like he’s ever won a fight by the way!

“He talks like a man who knows what it’s like to win a fight, he hasn’t and when he met me in Miami he wasn’t about it.

“He wanted to fight me in MMA, boxing whatever until he met me in Miami and thought ‘f*** me, you’re bigger than I thought’, he didn’t have much to say after that.

“He went cold and now he’s trying to get loud. January Misfits if you want to run let’s f***ing run it. I’m going to knock you the f*** out!”
