John said: Yeah, we’re looking to get Tommy out there. He last fought on the Wembley undercard, so he needs the action.

“It’s a great fight. I was in talks with our lawyers today and it seems pretty much alive, so it seems all set for the 13th of November.

“A few I’s to dot and a few T’s to cross but we’re pretty much there with it.”

Tommy officially started camp today with brother Tyson, 34, and posted a picture on Instagram during an early morning run.

It comes following the news he is expecting his first child with partner Molly-Mae Hague, 23.

But soon-to-be grandad John warned his son can only focus on parenting once his next fight is over.

He told the Daily Mail: “He’s a fighter. That’s what good fighters do.

“It’s good news for Tommy and for Molly. It’s great news for me to be a grandad again, for the 19th time.

“We start camp on Monday. I am a no none sense man when Tommy is concerned. So, let’s train, let’s get on and let’s box.

“He needs to do his job properly. You know, we can enjoy the baby and enjoy Molly after the event.”
