His Dublin club has released a statement expressing their sorrow and paying tribute to the beloved fighter. They described Byrne as someone who always had time for everyone and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Byrne, who leaves behind a partner and child, will be deeply missed by his Crumlin boxing family and will forever remain in their hearts.

Condolences from the Boxing Community

Esker Boxing Club, based in Lucan, also expressed their sadness at the news of Byrne's passing and offered their support to everyone connected with Crumlin Boxing Club.

Naas Boxing Club – St. David's also extended their heartfelt condolences to the boxers, coaches, and Byrne's immediate family.

Fond Memories of a Beloved Coach

Individual tributes poured in, with one person sharing how Byrne made their little boy feel at home when he first joined the club and always supported him. They expressed how deeply Byrne will be missed and how much their child will miss him.
