Tyson Fury ‘could return to ring for £100million’ after announcing retirement

TYSON Fury partied at a country pub yesterday just hours after his knock-out win — with rumours of a £100million return to the ring already swirling.

The Gyspy King, 33, headed for a run first-thing, just hours after beating Dillian Whyte, 34, in front of a 94,000 crowd at Wembley Stadium.

Tyson Fury and wife Paris have been toasting his Wembley victory in Essex this afternoon

And showing he plans to stay in shape, he then sipped on a low-cal beer, while wearing a jazzy suit.

Despite announcing his retirement after claiming victory in the ring, experts said the fighter could pocket the biggest fee in boxing history if he ditched his plans and took on a belt-unifying bout.

The £100million figure came after wife Paris hinted her man “could” be tempted back to the ring.

And she appeared to say “No chance” as he announced he was hanging up his gloves.

Fury wore a dazzling multicoloured outfit as he strode to The Three Horseshoes Pub in the village of Letchmore Heath, Herts, before he was mobbed by adoring fans yesterday.

The WBC king posed with locals — even cuddling a baby — before nipping inside for a “breakfast of champions” — tucking into pancakes, bacon and fruit.

He was joined by wife Paris — who earlier posted a social media tribute to her man, hailing him “The greatest ever”.

Fury’s boxing brother Tommy, 22, and his Love Island girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, 22, were also in the entourage, with Tyson’s trainer SugarHill Steward, who was carrying a whiskey bottle. They left the pub at 1pm to head north.

A local said: “It looks like his team were renting a house round here because after his run he reappeared in a jazzy suit sipping a low-calorie beer.

“Then he even had fruit for breakfast. It all looks to me like this is a man who hasn’t yet completely made up his mind to retire. He seems to be committed to staying in shape.”

The manager at the Three Horseshoes said: “We don’t actually serve breakfast — but obviously the chef was happy to sort it out for Tyson and his family.

“We’ve just been refurbished, so it was brilliant having him in here.”
The Gypsy King produced a stunning sixth round uppercut to knock out Dillian Whyte and retain his heavyweight titles.

WINNING HIT

The winning hit was so powerful Fury begged the referee to end the bout as his opponent writhed in the canvas.

He then got on the mic to tell fans he is ending his pro boxing career. Tyson told the crowd: “I promised my lovely wife, Paris, of 14 years, after the Wilder 3 fight, that would be it — and I meant it.”

As he was talking, Paris appeared to say “No chance” — potentially letting slip that she does not believe it is really the end, or that he had no chance of returning to the ring.

Paris later confessed she knew her hubby could “come back” for a belt-unifying fight, even though she wanted him to retire.

TOWIE star Mark Wright joined in the party at Sheesh Chigwell

She said: “I would like him to come home now. He has nothing more to prove, that’s the thing.

“If he had anything left to do I’d say ‘Yeah Tyson, you do it’. So unless he really wants to box on and if he’s just doing it for money or fame, he doesn’t need that.

“He’s the most famous man on the planet tonight. He does not need to be any more famous.

“We’re very blessed and lucky not to need any more money. The man has done anything he ever could do.

“I’m happy with what we are and what we’ve got. For Tyson to keep boxing, it seems ‘For what reason?’.”

Paris added: “I know in my heart I think the only reason Tyson would come back is for a unification fight.”

Fury added in a press conference: “I’ve won every belt there is. There isn’t nothing more I can do. I’ve won every belt in the game. If this was a computer game it would be completed, that’s for sure.”

Boxing promoter Barry Hearn, 73, told SE how Fury would earn in excess of £100million if he came out of retirement.

He said: “Enough is a funny word in heavy-weight boxing. I’ve seen so many comebacks over the years. The man who’s got a sandwich always wants a steak.”
