Tyson Fury is BANNED from entering US, confirms his Love Island brother Tommy amid ‘links to mob boss Daniel Kinahan’

TOMMY FURY has confirmed he and brother Tyson Fury are banned from entering the United States.

The 2019 Love Island star in August was unable to fight celebrity boxing rival Jake Paul in New York amid a US visa issue.

It came after SE revealed in June that brother Tyson, the WBC heavyweight world champion, was also denied access to a Stateside flight.

The bans are believed to be in connection to links with alleged Irish mob boss Daniel Kinahan, who in April was hit with sanctions.

Tommy, who along with Tyson has no links to criminality, revealed he is still unable to enter America.

He said on The MMA Hour: “Me and Tyson just can’t get into America at the minute and that’s the way it is.”

The US Treasury imposed sanctions on Kinahan and the US Department of State are also offering rewards of up to $5million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of three members of the criminal family.

A list of over 600 people, all connected to Kinahan, are understood to be banned from entering the US.

It has left Tommy, who was never advised or managed by Kinahan or his former MTK boxing stable, seemingly caught up in it all.

Directly asked about “the Kinahan situation” by host Ariel Helwani, Tommy, 23, said: “I don’t know (what’s happening), that’s what I pay my lawyers for and my legal team every day, they’re sorting it and I said please get this resolved as soon as possible and that’s where I’ve left it at the moment.

“I’m hoping it gets resolved asap because I want to come to America not just for boxing and of course for the big one to get this fight over the line but if it doesn’t get resolved for a long time I can’t speak on that on how long this is going to take.”

Tommy’s next fight is set for November 13 in Dubai against 5-2 American Paul Bamba, 33.

And his hopes of fighting Paul, 25, who beat 47-year-old UFC legend Anderson Silva over the weekend, rely on the YouTuber coming to the UK or Middle East.

Tommy added: “I cannot get into America, even right now, I cannot go to America.

“Forget the boxing talk, America’s my favourite place to go: the food, the weather, everything, the people, I love America.

“I love everything to do with America and it’s stopped me from going there.

“In my personal life, me and the missus love going to New York around Christmas – can’t do that.

“We can’t do a number of things now. So boxing’s not all that’s affected.

“But that’s the same right now, I cannot enter America and that’s why the fight didn’t happen.

“I don’t believe there’s anyone in this country that wouldn’t come to that fight.

“I believe it would break all records. Definitely we could draw 70,000.”

Boxing’s fundamental skills are:

  • Punching techniques
  • Guarding techniques
  • Footwork
  • Stance
  • Move your body
  • Defense
  • Combination
  • Rotation
  • Spare parts

Punching Techniques

There are seven kinds of punches: Left Hook, Right Hook, Uppercut, Cross, Straight, Overhand and Underhand. Each punch has its own technique. Some punches require more force than others. For example, an uppercut requires great force. A straight punch, on the other hand requires less power and is quicker than other punches.

There are also different combinations. These are combinations made up of several punches that can be used together to achieve one goal. A combination can contain multiple parts. An example of this is a left hook, followed by a right crossing. This will damage the opponent’s jaw.

Guard Techniques

A boxer uses his body to protect himself against attacks. He does this by using his legs.

Legs

Boxers must use their legs to defend themselves against kicks. He raises his leg when he is hit with a kick and then moves away from the opponent. To avoid being kicked on his side, he will bend his knees if the attack is from the front. If the attack is from the side, he will bend his knees to avoid being kicked on the side.

Elbows

Because they cause great pain, elbow strikes are extremely effective. An elbow strike can be delivered directly or indirectly. Directly means that you hit your opponent with your forearm while indirectly means that you hit him with another part of your arm.

Hands

Boxers use their hands to block incoming blows. To do this, they raise their fists higher than their heads and move their arms in the direction that the attack is coming. Then, they touch the attacker’s hand.

Knees

Boxers who are subject to a punch to their stomachs, abdomens, or chests should bend at the knees to absorb the impact. Knee strikes can be used to defend yourself.

Feet

Boxers should respond to being attacked by their opponent by standing back and delivering counter-attacks. This allows him to put distance between himself, his opponent, and the ring. Additionally, boxers need to maintain their balance when they counter-attack.

Stances

In order to box effectively, a boxer needs to establish a stance. The way he defends himself will be determined by his stance. It dictates how he places his body and faces his opponent. There are many positions that boxers can adopt. Here are some of the more popular ones:

  • Low stance
  • High stance
  • Southpaw stance
  • Western stance

Body Movement

A boxer must change his position, speed and rhythm in order to win the fight. This means changing your speed, position and rhythm.

Rotation

To increase his punching power, a boxer rotates when he throws a punch. Different types of punches require different speeds for the rotation.

Combinations

The effectiveness of a combination depends on the timing of each individual punch. A combination is good if it starts with a strong punch then ends with a weaker one.

Spare parts

Sparring, a boxing practice session, is designed to improve your boxing skills. During sparring sessions, a boxer trains his mind as well as his body. Sparring is a way to learn how to fight without getting hurt.

It is important to be patient and dedicated when learning how to box. You need to train hard and long in order to become a better boxer.
