TYSON FURY has cast major doubt over an undisputed heavyweight title fight with Anthony Joshua by declaring himself no longer ‘interested’ in the bout.

The Gypsy King was on course to face AJ in Saudi Arabia in August before an American judge ordered him to have a trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder.

But Fury no longer cares about facing Joshua for all the marbles

Boxing fans across the globe are hoping the pair will throw down later this year, but WBC champ Fury is no longer bothered about facing his fellow Brit.

He told talkSPORT: “Undisputed and unifying jobs, it’s all bulls**t to me. I’m not interested.

“Whoever the fights are who is there and is available to fight, we fight.

“As for like undisputed and unified, I’ve done all that.

“I’ve done unification with [Wladimir] Klitschko, I’ve won all the belts before.

“Two-time world champion without being beat. I could just rattle on about what I’ve done for the next two hours.

“But we already know what I’ve done, we already know who I am.

“Boxing is boxing. Whether they fight, whether I fight, fine, that’s it.

How Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder stack-up ahead of their trilogy fight

“No matter if I fight a guy that’s absolutely rubbish or I fight the best guy in the world, I still train hard, I still dedicate [myself], I still sacrifice to it.

“You’ll never catch Tyson Fury on the off, ever.

“Because I know you never underestimate the underdog because I’ve been the underdog every single time in every single fight I’ve ever had. But I always come out on top.”

Fury had inked a two-fight deal to face AJ before their long-awaited showdown was scuppered by the judge’s ruling in Wilder’s favour.

But the 32-year-old insists it didn’t disrupt any preparations, saying: “I wasn’t in camp when it all went off.

“I was in Miami with my family, actually, enjoying life.

“So I always knew, I always said in a lot of interviews, ‘ I couldn’t fight Deontay Wilder next. Don’t write that off.’

Tyson Fury will renew his rivalry with Deontay Wilder on July 24

“There was always arbitration court thing going on with the fight and everybody knew about it. So it was what it was.

“The judge found it fit to extend their contract when it was over and that was it. So we’re in the position.”

Fury isn’t at all gutted about the biggest fight of his career going south and reckons it could be a ‘blessing in disguise’.

The lineal heavyweight champ said: “Am I bothered? Not really. Is it a blessing in disguise?

“Probably, everything happens for a reason. I’ve been believing that my whole, so I have to be inclined to believe it today as well.”

Fury is set to renew his rivalry with Wilder on July 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Joshua, meanwhile, is set to defend his unified titles against his WBO mandatory Oleksandr Usyk on September 25, although an official announcement has not yet been made.
