Tyson Fury says the ‘clock is ticking’ as he goads Anthony Joshua & Eddie Hearn with venue deadline in THREE DAYS

TYSON FURY has goaded Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn by suggesting the ‘clock is ticking’ with just THREE DAYS left to decide on a venue.

In March, it was confirmed the British duo had finally signed the contracts for their two-fight, £500million deal after months of talks.

Tyson Fury tweeted a cryptic message seemingly in reference to the 30-day deadline set on finding a potential venue for his fight with Anthony Joshua

However, Fury, 32, and Joshua, 31, had just 30 days to thrash out further terms on an agreeable venue.

Both parties now have just THREE DAYS left to find a suitable venue – with Las Vegas and the Middle East strong favourites to host the fight.

If they fail to come to an agreement, the heavyweight unification fight – the first in history with all four major belts on the line – is at risk of collapsing.

Fury’s US promotion team Top Rank, confirmed the 30-day expiration date.

A source revealed: “It’s pending, finding a site and a date that’s acceptable to both.

“We have 30 days from the signing, or the deal could go away.”

And now Fury – set to link up with SugarHill Steward in Las Vegas for his training camp – has amped up the pressure to find a venue with a cryptic post on Twitter.

The Gypsy King tweeted: “3 days left. The clock is ticking. Tick tock tick tock.”

Meanwhile, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, admitted he hopes to sort out the venue situation quickly.

At the time of the contracts being signed, in March, Hearn told ESPN: “We’d like to get a site deal confirmed in the next month.

“The hard part is always getting everybody to put pen to paper.

“But this was a major effort from all parties to get this over the line. You had rival promoters, rival networks and rival fighters.

“I actually feel we’ve done the hard part.

“Speaking for myself, Anthony and his team at 258 management, I know how hard we’ve worked hard these last couple of months.

“I just feel that this fight is so big it’s not a difficult sell.”
