Tyson Fury slams ‘bulls**t’ criticism of Anthony Joshua and says AJ rival has ‘made it’ in shock praise of Brit rival

TYSON FURY has slammed the “bulls**t” the criticism of Anthony Joshua following his domestic rival’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

AJ came under intense scrutiny after being turned over in his Tottenham tussle with the Ukrainian last September, which saw him lose the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles.

But Brit rival Tyson Fury has leapt to the defence of the former champ

But long-time rival Fury believes the former two-time heavyweight champion has been harshly critiqued.

The retired Gypsy King said on Instagram: “Tyson Fury [here] and this is my defence of AJ.

“Everyone’s saying, ‘AJ’s a bum.’ He’s this, he’s that, ‘He can’t fight’ because he’s lost a few [fights].

“But AJ has made it in life. The man can go to the pub every single day and drink Peroni if he wants to.

“He can go on holiday every day, he can plan with his kids every day of his life.

“So I don’t want to hear any more of this bulls**t that AJ’s this, he’s that, he’s useless, he can’t fight.

“The man’s made it, be happy for him.”

Joshua, 32, will look to exact revenge on the undefeated Usyk in a high-stakes Saudi rematch on August 20.

AJ has enlisted the help of 14-time world champion Robert Garcia for the desert dust-up, but Fury reckons the American’s style could work against the Olympic gold medallist.

He told Gareth A Davies: “I just think Usyk’s too cute for him. Too smart, too quick and a southpaw.

“I think with Robert Garcia trying to train him to go on the front foot and be aggressive will only enable Usyk to land more often.

“I just don’t see it but then again, what do I know.

“In heavyweight boxing it only takes one punch.

Tyson Fury doesn’t foresee Usyk vs Joshua II being any different to their first fight

“It wasn’t a complete landslide last time, Usyk had a lot of marks on his face he was cut up.

“He’s not hard to hit, Usyk, he’s right there in front of you so obviously Joshua can land a big punch on him.

“Anyone can win a fight as we’ve seen many, many times. It’s a good time to beat Usyk now because he’s been at war for however long.

“If ever he was going to be off his ball, now is the time.

“I just think that Usyk’s too good of a boxer for AJ and I don’t think AJ has got the ability to pressurize him for 12 rounds, drag him into a dog fight and knock him out.

“You have to be an elite, special human being for that and I don’t think Joshua possesses that will to win to do that.
