WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is on the brink of a third fight with Deontay Wilder.
Fury was on course to have a summer showdown with Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia.
But an American judge has seemingly scuppered the bout by ruling The Gypsy King is still contractually obliged to give Wilder a trilogy fight.
Fury’s third meeting with Wilder must take place before September 15, a ruling that has all but laid waste to an August clash with Joshua.
And promoter Bob Arum has provisionally reserved the 65,000 capacity Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for July 24.

Brit Fury – the former unified heavyweight champion of the world – has time on his side at the age of 32.
He will, however, celebrate his 33rd birthday on August 12.
Olympic bronze medallist Wilder has three years on Fury, although he will celebrate his 36th birthday on October 22.

Fan favourite Fury boasts significant height and reach advantages over his American foe.
The Wythenshawe warrior stands at 6’9 and boasts an 85-inch reach, which he used to great effect in his rematch with the Olympian.
Wilder, meanwhile, stands at 6’7 and possesses an 83-inch reach.
The Alabama annihilator weighed a whopping three stone less than Fury for their second meeting – tipping the scale at 231lbs.
Records
Fury boats a record 30-0-1, with 21 of his victories coming inside the distance.
Wilder, on the other hand, had his 0 taken by Fury in their Sin City showdown.
The vicious knockout artist has won 42 of his 44 professional fights – in which he’s racked up a whopping 41 stoppages.
Fury and Wilder’s respective records were perfect before their first clash in December 2018, which ended in a controversial draw.
Form
Fury’s demolishing of Wilder has put him on a one-fight win streak, with the latter being in the losing column for the first time in his career.
Prior to their first meeting, Fury had won 27 fights in a row – stopping 19 of his opponents.
Wilder, meanwhile, had previously been on a 40-fight win streak before crossing paths with Fury.
