Tyson Fury ‘would BEAT Muhammad Ali in fantasy fight as Brit has combination we’ve NEVER seen of power and speed’

TYSON FURY was backed by his promoter Bob Arum to beat Muhammad Ali in fantasy fight.

Legendary matchmaker Arum has promoted some of boxing’s best ever champions and fights.

That includes sporting icon Ali, the three-time heavyweight champion who is considered by many as ‘The Greatest’.

But more recently, Arum has guided Fury’s rise to stardom in America and claimed the Gypsy King would have had Ali’s number.

Arum told Rich Eisen: “Fury wins. No heavyweight before or since can beat Fury.

“Fury is so incredible. Guys who are 6’9 were bums when Ali was fighting, because they couldn’t move and there were always flaws.”

Fury first won the belts with a shock 2015 points win over Wladimir Klitschko.

But after a battle with depression and substance abuse, just a year later he vacated the straps.

It then sparked one of the greatest comebacks of all time as in 2018 Fury, 33, returned after only three fights challenged for the title again.

He was denied a remarkable win over then-WBC king Deontay Wilder, 36, following a disputed draw.

But Fury put things right in their 2020 rematch and this October won the trilogy bout with a brutal round 11 knockout.

Arum said: “Here’s a guy Fury, takes an incredible punch, moves like a Welterweight, and has a pretty good punch himself, knows how to box.

“We haven’t seen that combination, ever. You know, I feel sorry for Wilder, who is a terrific fighter, because he came in an era that gave us Tyson Fury

“It’s not a fluke, because Tyson Fury beat Wladimir Klitschko when Klitschko was riding high and nobody gave Fury a chance.

“Fury is the goods because he can box, he can punch and he keeps getting better.”
