Tyson Fury was put through an intense punching workout by his strength and conditioning coach in preparation for his upcoming fight against Francis Ngannou.
Fight of the Titans
World heavyweight boxing champion Fury, 35, is set to face off against UFC legend Ngannou, 37, in a highly anticipated match in Saudi Arabia on October 28, which promises to be a lucrative event.
Rivalry Reignited
Although the fight is an exhibition, both fighters are determined to prove themselves as the greatest fighter on the planet. As a result, Fury has been working tirelessly to ensure he is in prime condition.
Unbeatable Duo
The Gypsy King will have the expertise of renowned trainer SugarHill Steward in his corner, while Ngannou has enlisted the help of boxing legend Mike Tyson.
Pushing the Limits
But Fury isn't relying solely on his coaching team. He has also been training with strength and conditioning specialist Kristian Blacklock, who is responsible for optimizing Fury's physical fitness.
Power Punches
In a video shared on social media, Fury can be seen performing explosive exercises with a weighted barbell, specifically a landmine press movement. This workout targets various muscles in the shoulder and upper arm, giving Fury greater punching power. He made it even more challenging by incorporating a resistance band for added force.
Lights, Camera, Action?
While Fury's future plans following the Ngannou fight are still uncertain, there is speculation that the boxing champ may venture into Hollywood. His wife, Paris, revealed that Fury has received numerous acting proposals. However, she admitted that Fury tends to become frustrated during acting gigs. Nevertheless, it seems the idea of Tyson Fury on the big screen is not entirely off the table.
