Watch Mike Tyson’s favourite boxer Naoya Inoue live up to ‘Monster’ nickname as ref forced to step in and save opponent

MIKE TYSON will be a happy man after seeing his favourite boxer Naoya Inoue deliver yet another stunning stoppage.

The bantamweight, nicknamed ‘Monster’, destroyed opponent Aran Dipaen, with the referee ending the punishment in the eighth round.

Naoya Inoue once again dem0onstrated his brutal power by stopping Aran Dipaen
The referee jumped in to end the punishment as Inoue marches on

That saw him retain his IBF and WBA bantamweight titles and extend his unbeaten record to 22.

Nineteen knockout wins from those show just how brutal the Japanese star is.

Iron Mike Tyson had said about Inoue earlier this year on his HotBoxin’ podcast: “He’s a mean son of a b***h, oh you’re gonna see this bad m****r f****r, he’s better than Manny Pacquiao, just as good.

“He’s vicious, the monster. He’s a monster, f***ing monster, he’s a mean little s***”

The only surprise in Kokugikan was that Dipaen reached the eighth, after being wobbled numerous times throughout the fight.

He was floored before the referee rushed in to call an end to the one-sided scrap.

Next for Inoue could be a unification fight against John Riel Casimero.

The Filipino holds the WBO belt, but has suffered four defeats in his 35 bouts.

Last time out he secured a contentious split decision win against Colombian veteran Guillermo Rigondeaux.
