Watch shocking moment boxer Nicolas Pablo Demario BITES rival Josue Vargas in fight… but ref refuses to disqualify him

BOXING fans were left outraged after Nicolas Pablo Demario BIT Josue Vargas but ESCAPED disqualification.

The shocking incident occurred during the fifth round of their clash on Saturday night.

Nicolas Pablo Demario was spotted biting his opponent Josue Vargas on Saturday

Fans were outraged after the referee only opted to deduct him a point

However, the referee only opted to dock Demario a point for his disgusting show of sportsmanship instead of disqualifying him.

The contest was a tight affair before Demario lost his cool.

The 28-year-old Argentinean was spotted sinking his teeth into the arm of Vargas.

And the official soon noticed the toned-down Mike Tyson antics.

Fighters have been fined and/or suspended for biting opponents in the past, such as Tyson after he bit a chunk or Evander Holyfield’s ear off as well as Kash Ali for his bites on David Price.

Viewers were left furious over the referee’s decision.

And afterwards they took to Twitter to slam the man in the middle as well as Demario, who was returning to the ring for the first time since he was knocked out by Jose Zepeda in October.

One tweeted: “Feel like this should always be a straight DQ.”

Another wrote: “Should be pretty straightforward. Biting your opponent is an auto DQ and suspension.”

A fellow viewer said: “Point deduction? Should be disqualified with a ban. Kash Ali got a 6 month ban for the same and a possible fine if a remember correctly.”

While a third said: “Don’t understand how he didn’t get DQ’d for this. That’s just dirty.”
