GOLDEN oldie Darren Stevens says he has no plans to retire after inspiring Kent to Vitality Blast glory.
All-rounder Stevens, 45, starred as Kent beat Sussex and Somerset.
And his displays helped them to lift the trophy in Saturday’s T20 finals day at Edgbaston.
And Stevens declared: “I’ve showed I’ve still got it.
“I’m still playing the game because it’s all about winning trophies and games for Kent.
“To walk away with a trophy is unbelievable, but I’ve no interest in stopping.
“As long as I look after my body, as long as the eyes stay good, I’ll be alright.”
His 47 not out from 28 balls guided Kent to a semi-final win over Sussex.

That was before also taking a vital wicket in the 25-run final triumph over Somerset.
He became a T20 champ for the third time after winning with Kent in 2007 and Leicestershire in 2004.
Stevens, who was recalled after being axed for the quarter-final, added: “I was devastated to be left out, but I said: ‘You get us to Finals Day and I’ll win you the final.’
“My knock in the semi was a big contribution to winning the competition and I feel I’ve done myself justice.”
