England Cricketer Sam Curran Pushes Cameraman During World Cup Clash

During a World Cup clash against Afghanistan, England cricketer Sam Curran pushed a cameraman out of the way while fielding on the boundary. Clearly feeling that the cameraman got too close, Curran swatted the camera away and pointed towards the boundary, suggesting that the line was crossed. The incident occurred as England were struggling to make a breakthrough with the ball in hand.

Strong Partnership for Afghanistan's Opening Wicket

At the time of the incident, Afghanistan were 76 without loss in the tenth over. Opening batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz was in command, scoring 80 runs from just 57 balls. Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran produced a 114-run partnership for the first wicket before Zadran fell to Adil Rashid, who took 3-42. Mark Wood took two wickets as England bowled Afghanistan out for 284 with only one ball to spare.

England's Struggle with the Bat

England's batting attack did not start well, with Johnny Bairstow being bowled LBW for just two runs. Joe Root also had a disappointing score of 11. After losing their opening game against New Zealand, England bounced back with a win against Bangladesh, leaving them in fifth place.
