JOFRA ARCHER has revealed he was racially abused by a fan during England’s defeat to New Zealand.
The fast bowler, 24, admitted it was “disturbing hearing racial insults” as the hosts won the First Test by an innings and 65 runs.
Archer revealed on social media after the defeat that he was targeted by one individual fan at Bay Oval.
Speaking to his 240,000 followers, the Sussex star said: “A bit disturbing hearing racial insults today whilst battling to help save my team.
“The crowd has been amazing this except for that one guy, @TheBarmyArmy was good as usual also.”
