AUSTRALIAN cricket legend Shane Warne has tragically passed away aged 52-years-old after a ‘suspected heart attack’.
His final public appearance was being on punditry duty for Australia’s T20 international against Sri Lanka just two weeks before passing away.

The second-leading Test wicket-taker of all time was part of the team covering Sri Lanka’s tour to Australia for Aussie TV network FOX Cricket.
He oversaw the toss between captains Aaron Finch and Dasun Shanka at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 18.
But just two weeks after completing his media duties in Melbourne Warne tragically passed away in sudden circumstances.
Warne also spent time as a pundit in the UK for Sky Sports.
He first signed for the channel in 2009 following his retirement from playing two years earlier.
Warne’s management released a brief statement in the early hours of Saturday (AEDT), announcing he he had passed away in Thailand after suffering a ‘suspected heart attack’.
It read: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.
“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
His death came just hours after tweeting his “sadness” at the death of cricket legend Rod Marsh who suffered a heart attack aged 74.

Piers Morgan led tributes from across the world as news of Warne’s tragic passing was made public.
In an emotional tweet, SE columnist wrote: “Absolutely devastated to hear that Shane Warne has died from a heart attack aged just 52.
“He was a genius cricketer, a supreme entertainer, a fantastic bloke and a great loyal friend for many years.
“Just gutting news. RIP Warnie, I loved every minute in your company.”
