TALKSPORT will broadcast exclusive radio coverage of England’s upcoming white-ball tour of South Africa.

Fans can hear every ball of every game live on talkSPORT 2, with the series getting underway on November 27.

Eoin Morgan’s side have six matches scheduled with three T20s followed by three ODIs in less than a fortnight.

Four of the fixtures will be staged at Newlands in Cape Town with the other two at Boland Park in Paarl, around a 50-minute drive east of Newlands.

The England and Proteas squads are due to stay in a bio-secure bubble at the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town, with players permitted to leave only in order to train and play. All games will be behind closed doors.

talkSPORT’s broadcast team includes cricket regulars Mark Butcher, Steve Harmison, Gareth Batty, Alex Tudor, Neil Manthorp, Jarrod Kimber and Andrew McKenna.

England bowler Kate Cross and former South African players Shaun Pollock, Dane Vilas and Alfonso Thomas also join the team for the series.

talkSPORT Drive presenter and former England star Darren Gough will continue to present the Drive show while making contributions and providing analysis of the series.

The tour will include more than 60 hours of coverage across talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2.

That includes the warm-up games, two hour-long preview shows and a daily 30-minute podcast, Following On, that will air at 9am every weekday on talkSPORT 2.

Head of talkSPORT Lee Clayton added: “Professional sport continues to have an important role to play in cheering up the nation and our award-winning cricket commentary team will bring cricket lovers all the drama from South Africa.”

talkSPORT previously covered England’s tours to Sri Lanka in 2018 and the West Indies early the next year, winning the radio Live Broadcast category at the annual Sports Journalist Association awards for the former.
