THIS fan’s catch was one in a million in The Hundred.
A Headingley cricket lover plucked out Liam Livingstone’s gargantuan six, clutched it tightly in his right hand as he dived forward ACROSS SEATS – and got back up to gulp down the rest of his beer.
Cheering supporters were already in a carnival mood, as Birmingham Phoenix matchwinner Livingstone was on the way to 92 not out off 40 balls.
And unlike Northern Superchargers, the phenomenal fielding fan was not permanently floored by the star all-rounder.
He held the white ball and jumped up to jig for joy as the crowd joined in celebrating his corking catch.
Livingstone, meanwhile, had earlier taken 3-25 as Northern made just 143-8 off their 100 deliveries.
He then left the Superchargers flat with an electric TEN sixes in the highest knock of this year’s competition.
His innings powered Phoenix to an eight-wicket win from just 74 balls.
Livingstone tweeted: “Had worse days… Thanks for all the messages.”
And he told the BBC: “I was just trying to hit almost every ball for six.”
That’s no consolation for the Superchargers, who blew a fuse after looking good at 82-0 from the first 40 balls of the match.

The noisy Headingly audience was slowly silenced as Phoenix took over.
And even home supporters appreciated the thrilling butchery dished out by Livingstone’s meaty hitting.
And one fan in particular got a taste for the spectacular himself – with the catch of the day that might just be the best of the summer too.
