England Wags arrive for huge Germany showdown at Wembley in Euro 2020 last 16 with nervous wait as kick-off nears

ENGLAND Wags arrived ready to cheer on their partners to Euros victory at Wembley tonight.

Harry Maguire’s partner Fern Hawkins and Megan Davison, Jordan Pickford’s other half, were among those who turned up early on Tuesday.

England made their final preparations ahead of taking on rivals Germany in a massive second round showdown.

And Gareth Southgate’s men had some family support as part of the 45,000-strong crowd at Wembley.

Luke Shaw’s girlfriend Anouska Santos was pictured wearing an England shirt as she arrived for the game.

Charlotte Trippier also showed her support for her partner Kieran, while Kalvin Phillips’ girlfriend Ashleigh Behan was also there.

The Wags have been regulars at Wembley this summer in the stands.

They were treated to a three-course meal in the opening game against Croatia on a sunny Sunday earlier this month.

And they saw another victory as well this time last week when England beat Czech Republic to finish top of the group.

A source said before the tournament: “Plans have been put in place to keep everyone safe.

“The Wags and families haven’t been able to watch the players at a match because of Covid, but with fans coming back, it was important they were included too.

“The FA and England boss Gareth Southgate are aware of how important family is to the players.

“They will play a key role this summer if England are to bring it home.”

Harry Kane’s wife Kate earlier shared a photo of the pair’s three children getting into the spirit.

Kate posted a picture on Instagram of their kids with the caption “we love you daddy”.

All three were wearing England shirts with the number nine on the back and name ‘daddy’ printed.

The children – four-year-old Ivy, two-year-old Vivienne, and five-month old Louis – all got behind their dad for Tuesday’s last 16 clash.

Harry and Kate married in 2019 having been engaged for two years.

The childhood sweethearts have been together since 2012 and Kate is a former fitness instructor.
