Luke Shaw ‘loves’ Bukayo Saka and says he would love Arsenal ace to be his CHILD after meeting on England Euro 2020 duty

MANCHESTER UNITED defender Luke Shaw has confessed his love for England team-mate Bukayo Saka.

The 25-year-old has even admitted he wants the teenager to be his CHILD after bonding at Euro 2020.

Speaking to the press, Shaw said: “Honestly, I love him.

“I would just love it if he was my child or something, I love him like that and you could ask anyone in the squad and they would say how nice a guy he honestly is.

“I didn’t know him before I came to the camp and I didn’t know what he would be like but I have got on so well with him, I would love him to be my brother.

“He is so cool, so funny and he makes everyone laugh and he doesn’t mean it.

“He is not a loud person it is just the way he is, the way he speaks.

“Someone like that in the camp is good to have and he gets everyone laughing and we just all love him and appreciate the way he is.”

And Shaw and his international team-mates aren’t the only ones to fall in love with Saka this summer.

The 19-year-old has been England’s breakthrough star of the tournament after his stunning display against Czech Republic, winning Uefa’s Star of the Match award.

The Arsenal youngster also played well against Germany, despite French newspaper L’Equipe giving him just a FOUR out of ten in their player ratings.

Manager Gareth Southgate will struggle to drop Saka for England’s quarter-final clash against Ukraine on Saturday, July 3.

Former England assistant coach Gary Neville has called for the winger to be replaced by Manchester City star Phil Foden for the game in Rome.

Shaw has also been responding to comments made by ex-United boss Jose Mourinho, claiming the new Roma manager is obsessed with him.
