‘Absolute flames’ – Ben Foster risks wrath of Watford fans AGAIN by gushing over Salah and Liverpool after 5-0 battering

BEN FOSTER risked the wrath of Watford fans after gushing over Liverpool following the Hornets’ 5-0 defeat to them on Saturday.

The goalkeeper was full of praise for Jurgen Klopp’s side and Mo Salah in particular during his matchday vlog for the weekend’s match.

Ben Foster gushed over Liverpool’s performance

Foster, 38, was full of sportsmanship and praise for Watford’s superior opponents.

But some Hornets fans are getting frustrated with the popular goalkeeper’s YouTube account.

In the bio of his latest vlog, Foster wrote: “In today’s vlog we host Premier League legends, Liverpool FC!

“What a team!

“Mr Mo Salah is on absolute FLAMES at the moment. What a player!

“Well done boys.”

Responding to a tweet about Foster’s post, one frustrated Watford fan wrote: “Lost the will to live with it all mate.”

While another added: “The ‘well done boys’ quote is beneath contempt.”

A third fan defended Foster, however, hitting back: “We were poor but Liverpool were magnificent ~ what he said was sportsmanship – Good on him – A good loser not a bitter loser like many on here !”

The former England stopper later deleted the vlog, but not because of any criticism – but because of an ‘internal glitch’.

Foster had already drawn the ire of his own fans, after giving home tickets to UFC star and Liverpool fan Paddy Pimblett.

The 26-year-old was ejected from Vicarage Road for celebrating his side’s performance.

It also emerged that Foster had Salah in his Fantasy Premier League team – banking him 26 points.
