Andy Robertson Takes a Swipe at Liverpool Teammates

The Arrival of Ryan Gravenberch

Andy Robertson couldn't resist a cheeky dig at his Liverpool teammates Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo as he warmly welcomed the club's latest signing, Ryan Gravenberch. The midfielder completed a £34million move from Bayern Munich on deadline day, making him the third Dutch player in Jurgen Klopp's squad.

The Training Ground Tour

Gravenberch was given a tour of Liverpool's training ground after signing from Bayern Munich. The club's social media accounts recorded his introduction to the facilities, capturing the moment he first met Robertson.

An Icy Remark

As the two players crossed paths, Robertson couldn't help but deliver an ice-cold dig, saying, "Finally, a good Dutch player." Laughter could be heard in the background, and it seems Robertson's comment was taken in good spirits.

A Rising Star

Gravenberch, 21, joins Liverpool after spending just a year with Bayern Munich. Prior to that, he made over 100 appearances for Ajax. He has also represented the Netherlands at the senior level and was included in their squad for the 2021 Euros.

Patiently Waiting for Debut

Although Gravenberch has already trained with his new teammates, Liverpool fans will have to wait until after the international break to see him in action. His move was not completed in time for him to feature in the game against Aston Villa on Sunday. However, he will have the opportunity to make his debut against Wolves on September 16th.
