Are Chelsea “finished” after disappointing EA Sports FC 24 ratings?

Poor ratings despite £1BILLION spending spree

Fans of Chelsea football club are expressing concern that the team may be in trouble after seeing the latest EA Sports FC 24 ratings. Despite a massive spending spree of £1BILLION over the past three transfer windows, only seven players from the Blues managed to score 80 or more in the leaked ratings. This has left supporters questioning whether the club has received poor value for their money.

Enzo Fernandez's disappointing rating

One of the most contentious ratings was that of Enzo Fernandez. The player, who cost Chelsea a then-British record of £107m, was only rated 83. This has left fans feeling frustrated and questioning the team's decision-making. Many believe that the modest rating does not reflect Fernandez's true abilities.

Mixed ratings for other players

Other players who received mixed ratings include Thiago Silva and Reece James, both scoring two points below Chelsea's top man, Christopher Nkunku, who received an 86 rating. Raheem Sterling, who has recently shown a resurgence in form, saw his rating drop from 86 in Fifa 23 to 83 in the new game. Ben Chilwell received a rating of 81, while Moises Caicedo, the British record buy at £115m, received 80. Cole Palmer, who arrived at the club for £45m, had a disappointing rating of 66.

Concerns for the future

The underwhelming ratings have left fans worried about Chelsea's prospects for the upcoming season. After a disastrous 2022-23 campaign, new boss Mauricio Pochettino faces the daunting task of reinvigorating the team. With observers suggesting that the ratings are too high considering the team finished 12th last season, it remains to be seen how Chelsea will fare in the future.
