ARSENAL and Manchester City transfer target Lautaro Martinez will stay at Inter Milan.
That is according to Lautaro’s agent Alejando Camano, who claims his client and his family are so happy at Inter there is “no possibility” he will leave.
Camano told Calciomercato: “He is staying at Inter. Lautaro has a five-year contract with Inter, he feels like an Interista.
“Inter are the team in his heart. He feels like an extra fan on the pitch.
“His family is also very happy in Milan. I can say with certainty: there is no possibility that Lautaro will leave Inter. He cares so much about winning with this club.”
Lautaro has been linked with Arsenal, who are highly likely to be without a striker this summer.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Barcelona during the January transfer window whereas Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah will be out of contract in June.
City, on the other hand, are still looking for a centre-forward to fill in for record-goalscorer Sergio Aguero, who departed last year.
Tottenham and Barca also kept tabs on the Argentina international last summer but he opted to stay with the Nerazzurri.
The 24-year-old has been on fire this season with 16 goals and two assists in 36 matches across all competitions.
In fact, the Argentine led Inter to a 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield with an absolute wondergoal in the Champions League.
However, that wasn’t enough for the Italian champions to go through to the quarter-finals as they lost 2-0 to the Reds in the first leg at the San Siro.
